Mamaw Best's Coconut Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 1/2-1 cup coconut
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 egg yolks keep whites
  • 1 pie shell baked

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients except egg whites. Pour into pie shell.
  • Beat egg whites until soft peaks form and spoon over filling.
  • Bake at 350° for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Store in the refrigerator to let it set-up.
